SCHOOL UNIFORM

We are very proud of our School Uniform. It fosters a sense of belonging gives us a sense of belonging to our community, and helps children feel equal to each other. It plays a valuable role in contributing to the ethos of our school and sets an appropriate tone. we expect everyone to wear the same school uniform and not add, adapt or modify it. The school uniform is;

 

BOYS

White polo shirt with school logo, or plain white shirt,

Grey trousers or grey shorts may be worn in the summer,

Grey, white or black socks

Green sweatshirt with school logo

Black school shoes. Boots or trainers must not be worn.

 

GIRLS

White polo shirt with school logo, or plain white blouse,

Grey skirt or pinafore dress, a green checked dress may be worn in the summer,

Grey school trousers, no leggings may be worn. Black or grey cycling/Lycra shorts may be worn under skirts but should not be visible.

Green sweatshirt, cardigan with school logo,

Black school shoes. Boots or trainers must not be worn.

 

FOOTWEAR

Please note pupils who come into school wearing incorrect footwear will need to change into plimsoles, the school will provide a spare pair if your child does not have a pair of their own. Requests can be made to vary the policy to meet the needs of an individual pupil because of temporary or permanent medical conditions e.g. pupils with some conditions may be able to wear specific fabrics, and pupils with foot or leg injuries may be unable to wear school shoes. Any requests must be put in writing to the Headteacher.

 

 

 

 

 

HAIR

For health and safety reasons we expect that long hair is securely tied back and especially for all PE/Games/Sports sessions. Hair accessories should be appropriate and not over the top. Unusual haircuts e.g. styles of hair with initials/logos shaved into the hair etc. are not allowed. Coloured hair is strongly discouraged.

 

NAILS

Nails must be kept short and neat. Nail varnish/gel and makeup must not be worn to school.

 

JEWELLERY

For health and Safety reasons pupils should not wear jewellery to school.

Jewellery is considered to be any form of adornment to the body, which is not clothing. This includes all kinds of earrings (studs and 'sticks') and bangles. However if studs must be worn in the ears, your child will need to remove them on PE/Game/Sports days and when participating in class rewards like trampoline time. We do not have facilities to keep jewellery safe and do not accept liability for any loss or damage to jewellery. Any religious jewellery may be worn at the discretion of the Headteacher; requests must be made in writing to the Headteacher.

 

PE/GAMES/SPORTS Kit: BOYS AND GIRLS

White T-Shirt, with school logo,

Green shorts, tie string not buttons or zips,

white socks,

Black plimsoles for indoor PE/Games.

Plain black tracksuit, for outdoor PE/Games/Sports in cold weather,

Plain trainers for outdoor PE/Games/Sports.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Swimming kit:

Black trunks for boys, not Bermuda style,

Black one piece swimsuits for girls,

Swimmimg hat,

Goggles,

Towel.

 

 

 

NURSERY

Green sweatshirt with school logo,

White polo shirt with school logo,

Grey trouser pull ups,

Sensible Velcro shoes/trainers, no buckles or laces or boots.

 

PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL ITEMS OF UNIFORM ARE CLEARLY MARKED WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME
