To communicate in another language opens up so many doors to us.
At Castle Hill pupils learn Spanish during their time in KS2. We are keen that all pupils develop a solid foundation in Spanish, as it is a growing global language. We believe this opens up Global opportunities to our pupils. Research at KS3 suggests that Spanish has a much lower drop out rate than the other Modern Foreign Languages most widely available at secondary school. We hope that by introducing pupils early to Spanish they will develop in confidence and fluency. We are keen that pupils learn as many languages as possible and offer French as an additional language in one of our After School Clubs.
