The aims of the school.
- To create an environment that is happy, secure, caring and stimulating and where all members of the school community can work together in mutual respect and partnership.
- To develop self-confidence in the children and a sense of personal worth together with an understanding and respect for the needs of others and of the environment.
- To enable children to become active and responsible members of the school community.
- To enable all children to develop intellectually, physically, socially, emotionally, creatively and spiritually, ensuring they do their best and achieve their full potential.
- To provide a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum which meets the requirements of the Early Learning Goals and National Curriculum and supports the development of the whole child.
- To ensure equal access to the curriculum for all regardless of gender, culture, language, religion or disability.
- To develop an awareness of religious and moral values and of our multi-cultural society through teaching about Christianity and other major religions.
- To work in partnership with parents and the wider community through the extended school agenda and the Children's Centre.
- To continue to improve teaching and learning through the professional development of all staff and the best use of resources.
